Na última terça-feira (12), o Foo Fighters sacudiu o programa de televisão de David Letterman nos Estados Unidos. Além de tocar todo o novo álbum na íntegra, a banda ainda emocionou o apresentador ao tocar "Everlong".
Segurando as lágrimas, Letterman agradeceu a presença da banda e explicou que a música foi muito inspiradora para ele em 2000, enquanto se recuperava de uma cirurgia cardíaca. "Esta canção sempre significou algo incrivelmente pessoal e íntimo e importante para mim e minha família", declarou o apresentador.
"Everlong" foi a única faixa antiga tocada pela banda. O Foo Fighters tocou todas as músicas de "Wasting Light", o sétimo e mais recente álbum do grupo.
